Clip the hip strap around your hips. It should be adjusted to fit snug. |

Place the baby against your chest, facing you, and straddling your belly. |

While holding the baby with one hand, pull up the body of the carrier and the long straps with your other hand. |

Pull the long straps over each shoulder, cross in the back and pull them snuggly to the front of the carrier all the time keeping one hand on your baby. |

Tie the straps in a square knot under the baby’s bottom.

Alternately straps can be tied across the baby’s back. This is especially nice for a younger baby. |
